Full list: The Tory landlords who voted against housing safety checks

Tory MPs voted down a Labour amendment to the Housing Bill in 2016 that was “designed to ensure that all rented accommodation was safe for people to live in”.
71 of the Tory MPs who voted against this law were landlords themselves – meaning they had declared over £10,000 in the register of members’ interests that year from renting out property.
And Nick Hurd, the government’s new minister for the fire service, was one of them.
